Horsemanship Obstacle Clinics

A confidence-building Inhand clinic designed to develop a trusting partnership between you and your horse.

These sessions focus on practical, in-hand horsemanship using a variety of tasks and obstacles. You’ll learn how to better support, and communicate with your horse especially in situations they may find challenging.

If your goal is to have a horse who trusts you, and one you can trust in return whether hacking out or going somewhere new this clinic is for you.

What to expect:
• A range of in-hand tasks and obstacles
• Exercises to build trust, communication, and handler skill
• Support in helping your horse stay relaxed and under threshold
• Progressive challenges starting with simple and building up appropriately
• A focus on creating a safe, confident, and willing partner

We’ll work towards horses that can confidently face new environments without becoming overwhelmed and riders who know how to guide them through it.

Session options:
• Private sessions
• Semi-private sessions ( if there are two of you booking together – ticket price is for both riders)

Please wear a hat and gloves. Your horse will need a horsemanship halter and longer line (preferably) or lunge cavesson and lunge line.
