Muscle imbalances and tight sore muscles…

1. Our muscles don’t maintain their ideal range of motion on their own. They will change their resting length according to the length they are held in most of the time.  Tight muscles impact our comfort and posture, they create imbalance in our bodies and prevent us from sitting well and following our horses movement in a balanced, fluid way.  This is called adaptive muscle shortening and this is why we need to foam roll!
